Sycamore tree
by on 7/15/2009 7:34:32 PM

At the base of the sycamore tree
I have taken about 150 pinhole images so far this summer.  Will be working the remainder of the year on formats of images, there is plenty of work there for me!

It is so great to wade around in the streams - very energizing.  The images seem to capture at least some of that energy.  Here is one from Smokemont again, looking upstream from the other side of the wonderful sycamore tree in the stream.  The image is flattened but at the same time seems to carry the deep atmosphere of the place.  A friend described them as breathtaking - she has lived here so I am not sure if that is influencing her comment.  I would love to hear what you think.

These images make great cards.
