Tessentee Bottomland Preserve

This work is all inspired by my trips to the Tessentee Bottomland Preserve, a property conserved by the Land Trust for the Little Tennessee. There the Little Tennessee winds through relatively flat land and there are a wetland area, rivercane stands, forest, and plantings of butternut trees and white oaks. It is quite open and there are trails that are kept mowed. Last summer it was lush with Joe Pye weed twice my height. There is an old farm silo there that you will see in much of my work.
